Two handheld wireless microphones and an AI dongle make up this karaoke set. The dongle plugs into the source and the microphones connect without further configuration. Each capsule is a 16 mm ECM element with a frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz, and each body weighs 195 g. Singing time runs to 10 hours per charge.
The defining function is real-time vocal removal, which takes the lead vocal out of any song as it plays, leaving the backing for the singer. Noise reduction suppresses unwanted sound and automatic tuning corrects pitch. The wireless link runs at 2404 to 2478 MHz with adaptive channel selection and AES-128 encryption, running on a 240 mAh cell per microphone that recharges in under 3.5 hours.
