Wheels and an integrated handle define how this PartyBox is meant to be used — rolled out to wherever the event is, rather than installed and left. Two XLR inputs accept a microphone, guitar or DJ console directly, the cabinet is rated IPX4 against splashes, and the lightshow is built into the driver array rather than bolted on.

Power comes from replaceable batteries, sold separately, giving up to 15 hours of playtime and allowing a swap mid-event instead of a recharge. Auracast links multiple speakers for larger spaces, and lighting, EQ and playback are driven from the JBL PartyBox app. Recycled plastic and FSC certified paper packaging are used in its construction.
